huzunra // perfume writings
melancholic longing for that, which is no more; that which (perhaps) never was, and nonetheless, cannot be otherwise.
i have started writing on olfactory impressions out of the sunday mellow mood, and the lingering feeling of possibility.
(once every now and then, as it happens, for each time each drop each spray each gesture remains a surprise yet to be revealed and whiffed and touched and embraced… savoured).
the idea for “the memory scents” perfumery blog is simple, if hardly new: scribble down olfactory impressions. it is an exercise in communicating and dressing up in words (seeing//speaking – vision and sound) that, which by its very nature belongs to another realm of senses (smell).
